Technology
Engineered for the Thinnest Air on Earth
Four core systems, one philosophy: technology should extend a climber's awareness, never compete with it. Every component is designed, frozen, battered and re-tested until it earns its place on the frame.
Bone-Conduction Audio
Transducers rest lightly on the cheekbone, sending sound through bone directly to the inner ear. Your ear canals stay completely open — so you hear your belay partner, cracking ice, rockfall and approaching weather while still getting crisp music, coaching cues and navigation prompts. At altitude, situational awareness is survival; our audio never takes it from you.
- Open-ear awareness by design
- Clear at −20°C
- No earbuds to freeze or fall out
Voice-Controlled Route Mapping
Say "map the next pitch" and the Summit HUD projects route beta, gear placements, crux notes and descent lines into your peripheral vision. Gloved hands never leave the rock. Wind-resistant beamforming microphones isolate your voice from 60km/h gusts, and the offline command set works with zero signal in the death zone of a big wall.
- Hands-free, glove-free control
- Offline voice command set
- Waypoint and crux overlays
Altitude & Weather Sensors
A fused sensor stack samples barometric pressure, altitude, temperature and storm trends every two seconds. Falling pressure? The glasses whisper an early turn-back suggestion through bone conduction before the window closes. Climbers get objective data exactly when subjective judgment is most impaired — cold, tired and high.
- Barometric storm-trend detection
- Live altitude & temperature telemetry
- Configurable turn-back alerts
Cold-Weather Battery Optimisation
Lithium cells lose capacity fast in the cold — ours are built for it. A sub-zero electrolyte formulation holds 90% capacity at −20°C, while intelligent duty-cycling dims the HUD and throttles sensors when you need endurance, not refresh rates. A 10-minute fast charge at a high camp returns three hours of full operation.
- 90% capacity at −20°C
- Intelligent duty-cycling
- 10-min charge = 3 hours
Proven in the Cold
Tested Where the Weather Is the Route
Every system is validated in climate chambers at −30°C, in wind tunnels at 80km/h, and on real rock with professional climbers, mountain guides and expedition teams across the Alps, Scotland and the Himalaya. If a feature fails once in the field, it goes back to the bench.

The Details That Keep You Safe
Beyond the four core systems, a constellation of smaller engineering decisions works quietly in the background.
Wind-Noise Suppression
Adaptive filtering keeps voice commands intelligible in sustained summit gales.
Impact-Tuned Acoustics
Drivers are mechanically isolated so falls and gear knocks never damage the audio path.
Offline Topo Maps
Cached route and terrain data stays available far beyond the last signal bar.
Frost-Resistant Optics
Hydrophobic coatings and vented channels prevent icing and fogging on steep pitches.
Glove-Friendly Pairing
Bond with watches, radios and phones through a single temple-press gesture.
Fail-Safe Modes
If sensors disagree, the system defaults to the conservative safety reading — always.
Solar Top-Up Case
The expedition charge case harvests daylight at high camp for extra runtime.
Descent Navigation
Rappels and down-climbing lines are marked in the HUD before you commit.
